Description
The Gospel is the brainchild of Brad Leopard [former project: Simon], who--after years of crafting a series of droning 60's Eastern psychedelic soundscapes tinged with 90's shoegaze textures and Britpop melodies culminating in the debut album "Hymns For Heathens"--sought collaborators to help realize his vision in a live setting and enlisted an experienced local ensemble: Eric Anderton [Startle The Heavens], Adam Martin [The Linear High], Andrew Neill [Reclaim The Empyre], and Lane Smith [Future Primitives]. With "Hymns For Heathens" serving as the gateway for the project, The Gospel is blending psychedelia with shoegaze, grunge, Britpop, and other sub-genres in between for a unique sound that is both nostalgic and modern.
