Todd Rundgren’s groundbreaking 1985 debut for Warner Records returns to vinyl for the first time since its original release. Rundgren employed overdubbing techniques and an E-mu Emulator (an early sampler), electronically manipulating the sound of his voice to mimic conventional rock instruments, handclaps, and other sounds. Entirely vocal-driven, it stands as one of his most unique works. This reissue marks a pivotal moment in Rundgren’s career before his solo hiatus. The album is mastered for vinyl from the original analog stereo tapes by Joe Nino-Hernes at Sterling Mastering. Track List: A1. BLUE ORPHEUS A2. JOHNEE JINGO A3. PRETENDING TO CARE A4. HODJA A5. LOST HORIZON B1. SOMETHING TO FALL BACK ON B2. MIRACLE IN THE BAZAAR B3. LOCKJAW B4. HONEST WORK B5. MIGHTY LOVE
