***The Going Away Present is Lowercase’s 3rd and final LP, originally released by Vern Rumsey of Unwound on his Punk in My Vitamins in 1999. A sought after and highly collectible LP in the post-rock/slow-core/indie world, the beautifully remastered Phonograph Records 2026 reissue sees lowercase continuing to build on their themes of driving, solemn, melodic repetition.
