Hootie & The Blowfish - Musical Chairs (ROCKtober 2026) [LP]

Release Date: October 23, 2026
Label: Atlantic Catalog Group

Hootie & the Blowfish's Musical Chairs, released in 1998, displays a rootsier, more reflective sound, marking a shift in the band’s approach and rounding out an impressive three-album run in the ’90s. Featuring expanded arrangements with banjos, violins, and occasionally strings and horns, this shift in sound gives the album a fresh, layered feel with first single "I Will Wait" being a standout track.
