Waterboys, The - This Is The Sea (Fast Version) [10"]

The Waterboys breakthrough album This Is The Sea, and the single “The Whole of The Moon”, both from 1985, took the band to a global audience. Taken from the forthcoming 6CD box set of the This Is The Sea album, comes a previously unreleased, faster-paced version of the album’s title track and features Television’s Tom Verlaine on lead guitar. It is backed here with a cover of “The Passenger” a track from another US rock legend, Iggy Pop, which is also previously unreleased and exclusive to this RSD Black Friday 10” release.
